The Founder

 Robert (Bobby) Sewall has worked in the financial services industry since 2013, first leading his team at Merrill Lynch, then opening his own firm, Sewall Financial Group, Inc. 

Robert grew up in Portsmouth, Rhode Island and is the oldest of four children. He attended Brown University and achieved a dual degree in Economics and American History. Robert was a four-year letterman in varsity football, where he was named two-time All-American, three-time All-Ivy, and an Ivy League champion as a wide receiver. Robert spent three years pursuing a career in the National Football League with the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 

Robert is FINRA licensed – 7, 66 and holds his insurance license in New York, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, California, and New Jersey. He also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation. Robert has served as the President of the NFLPA Former Player’s Chapter of New York/New Jersey with a dual role as NFLPA board member. He is also passionately involved with a local charity as a board member for “Bob’s Big Give”. 

 As a former NFL Wide receiver, Robert is extremely passionate about assisting Sports & Entertainment clients with their holistic wealth management needs. His passion and knowledge for the industry allows him to work closely with clients, ranging from Owners, Front Office Executives, Coaches, and Players to understand their various needs in all stages of their lives. 

This knowledge allows him to understand the idiosyncratic lifestyles that our clients have and more importantly their unique pay structures. Moreover, Robert’s NFL background allows him to be an expert on the complex, yet widely unknown, player benefit packages. Robert’s experiences allow him to help our clients achieve their objectives in the most efficient way possible.
